The Grand County is a county in the US -amerikanischen State Utah . In 2010 the county had 9,225 people and a population density of one person per square kilometer. By 2013 the population increased to 9,360. The county seat is Moab , the largest city in the county.

Grand County covers an area of 9,568 square kilometers, of which 32 square kilometers are water.
The Green River forms the western boundary of the county. The Colorado River flows through the southeastern part of the county.
In the southeast of the county are the La Sal Mountains , which reach a summit height of 3877 meters in neighboring San Juan County.

As of the 2010 census , Grand County's population was 9,225 people in 3,690 households. The population density was one inhabitant per square kilometer. In the 3690 households there were statistically 2.45 people each.
The racial the population was composed of 91.9 percent white, 0.7 percent African American, 4.3 percent Native American, 1.0 percent Asian, 0.1 percent Polynesian and other ethnic groups; 2.0 percent were descended from two or more races. Regardless of ethnicity, 9.8 percent of the population was Hispanic or Latino of any race.
22.6 percent of the population were under 18 years old, 62.0 percent were between 18 and 64 and 15.4 percent were 65 years or older. 49.9 percent of the population were female.
