Grane is a municipality with 1482 inhabitants (February 27, 2020) in the Norwegian province of Nordland . The administrative center of the municipality is the place Trofors with about 800 inhabitants. The municipality is a so-called “inland municipality” (i.e. the municipality is not located by the sea). Larger towns in the municipality are Grane, Svenningdal, Fiplingdal and Majavatn.
