The HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2011 was a hard court tennis tournament for women in Osaka . It was part of the 2011 WTA Tour as a tournament in the International category . It took place at the same time as the Generali Ladies Linz 2011 from October 10th to 16th, 2011.

The singles final was played by Marion Bartoli and Samantha Stosur , which Bartoli won in straight sets. In doubles, Kimiko Date Krumm and Zhang Shuai won in three sets against Vania King and Jaroslawa Schwedowa .
