history

The Fraisch over Halsbach was controversial. It was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen and the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen- Spielberg . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl wanted to assert them on their estates. The village and community rulership lay with the Obervogteiamt Dinkelsbühl of the Teutonic Order . At the end of the 18th century there were 28 properties in Halsbach. There was also a church, a parsonage and a school and shepherd's house that were subordinate to the commune. Were landlords

  • the Principality of Oettingen-Spielberg (Oberamt Dürrwangen: 1 forge, 1 house)
  • the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (14 properties; catholic church maintenance: 1 estate; imperial alms maintenance: 2 half estates; hospital: 4 quarter yards, 1 estate, 6 half estates)
  • the Teutonic Order (12 properties; Obervogteiamt Dinkelsbühl: 7 farm estates, 2 half farm estates, 2 estates, 1 estate with an inn).

From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

In 1806 Halsbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . With the community edict, Halsbach was assigned to the Dürrwangen tax district in 1809 . At the same time the rural community of Halsbach was formed, to which Dattelhof , Haslach , Lohmühle and Witzmannsmühle belonged. With the second community edict (1818), two rural communities were formed:

  • Halsbach
  • Haslach with Dattelhof, Loh and Witzmannsmühle.

The administration and jurisdiction of the municipality of Halsbach was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl Regional Court and the Dinkelsbühl tax office ( renamed Dinkelsbühl tax office in 1919 , Ansbach tax office since 1973 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Dinkelsbühl until 1879, from 1879 to 1973 the District Court of Dinkelsbühl was responsible, which has been a branch of the District Court of Ansbach since 1973 . The administration was taken over by the newly created Dinkelsbühl district office in 1862 (renamed the Dinkelsbühl district in 1938 ). With the dissolution of the Dinkelsbühl district in 1972, Halsbach came to the Ansbach district. In 1961 the municipality had an area of 3.884 km². As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was incorporated into Dürrwangen on July 1, 1971.
