Handball Regional League West 2003/04

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2003/2004 season of the men's regional handball league was the 33rd in its history. 16 teams played for the West German championship. The leader of the table after the 28th matchday was automatically West German champions 2004. LTV Wuppertal achieved this with a balance of 46:10 points.

The HSG Mülheim-Kärlich-Bassenheim moved from the Regionalliga Südwest to the West relay.

Three teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: TV Weiden (Middle Rhine), TV Oppum (Lower Rhine), and TVE Bad Münstereifel (Middle Rhine). Bad Münstereifel withdrew its team prematurely, so that all TVE games were not counted.
