Handball Regional League West 2008/09
The 2008/2009 season of the men 's regional handball league was the 38th in its history. 16 teams played for the West German championship. The table leader after the 30th matchday was automatically West German champions 2009. This was achieved by TV Korschenbroich after being relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga South last year with a record score of 60: 0 points.
Three teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: VfL Gladbeck (Westphalia), Longericher SC (Middle Rhine) and DJK-BTB Aachen (Middle Rhine).
