Handball Regional League West 2002/03

The 2002/2003 season of the men 's regional handball league was the 32nd in its history. 16 teams played for the West German championship. The table leader after the 28th matchday was automatically West German champions 2003. HSG Römerwall achieved this after being relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga last year with a score of 47: 9 points.

Three teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: HG LTG / HTV Remscheid (Niederrhein), TuS Weibern (Rhineland), and TV Angermund (Niederrhein). Angermund withdrew his team prematurely, so that all TV games were not counted.
