Handball Regional League West 1985/86
The 1985/1986 season of the men 's regional handball league was the 16th in its history. A total of 24 teams in a north and a south relay played for the West German championship. The two best-placed teams of their squadron played for the title of West German champions 1986 after 22 match days. This was achieved by SuS Oberaden .
With GWD Minden 2 (Westphalia), TS Bendorf (Rhineland-Palatinate) and TuS Horbruch (Rhineland-Palatinate), three teams had to relegate to the upper leagues .
