The 2006/2007 season of handball Regional League West was the men the 36th in their history. 16 teams played for the West German championship. The table leader after the 30th matchday was automatically West German champions 2007. This was achieved by TV Korschenbroich with a balance of 46:14 points.

Three teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: HG LTG / HTV Remscheid (Niederrhein), Mettmann-Sport (Niederrhein) and LTV Wuppertal (Niederrhein).
