Handball Regional League West 1990/91
The 1990/1991 season of the men's handball regional league west was the 21st in its history. A total of 24 teams in a north and a south relay played for the West German championship. The four best-placed teams of their season played for the title of West German champions in 1991 after 22 match days. This was achieved by TV Emsdetten .
Three teams had to be relegated to the top leagues: TV Sachsenroß Hille (Westphalia), TV Bassenheim (Rhineland-Palatinate) and Eschweiler SG (Middle Rhine).
Eintracht Dortmund is renamed TSC Dortmund .
Union Bad Salzuflen is renamed HC 93 Bad Salzuflen .
