Handball Regional League West 1991/92

The 1991/1992 season of the men's regional handball league was the 22nd in its history. A total of 24 teams in a north and a south relay played for the West German championship. The four best-placed teams of their squadron played for the title of West German champions in 1992 after 22 match days. This was achieved by Spvg Versmold .

Two teams had to be relegated to the upper leagues: HSG Dortmund (Westphalia) and HSG Irmenach-Kleinich (Rhineland-Palatinate). In addition, the DJK Hürth-Gleuel withdrew his team for the next season.

TSC Dortmund and OSC Dortmund merge to form HSG Dortmund .

The HSG Mülheim-Kärlich and the TV Bassenheim merge to form the HSG Mülheim-Kärlich / Bassenheim .
