Handball Regional League West 1989/90
The 1989/1990 season of the men's regional handball league was the 20th in its history. A total of 24 teams in a north and a south relay played for the West German championship. The four best-placed teams of their squadron played for the title of West German champions in 1990 after 22 match days. This was achieved by TV Aldekerk .
Five teams had to relegate to the upper leagues: Sportfreunde Hamborn 07 (Lower Rhine), TuS Spenge (Westphalia), ESV Olympia / Brühler TV (Middle Rhine), HSG Irmenach-Kleinich and SG Düren 99 (Middle Rhine).
