- Rail: The Lower Austrian Transport Organization operates the Weitersfeld and Oberhöflein stations on the Retz – Drosendorf local railway . Since 2001, these stations have only been served by the nostalgic train, Reblaus-Express, on weekends in the summer months . The closest ÖBB train stations with regular passenger traffic are Hötzelsdorf - Geras on the Franz-Josefs-Bahn and Retz on the Nordwestbahn .
- Bus: The regular bus company PostBus drives to stops on lines 1253 ( Horn - Retz ), 1255 (Retz - Horn) and 1315 (Horn - Weitersfeld) in several places in the municipality.
- Road: The Thayatal Straße (B30) leads north past Weitersfeld.
