NGC 7594 = IC 1478 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pegasus north of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 492 million light years from the Milky Way and about 200,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 7595 , IC 5305 , IC 5306 , IC 5307 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was listed by Andrew Ainslie Common (listed as NGC ) in August 1880 and by Guillaume Bigourdan ( listed as IC ) on August 22, 1889 .
