history

The manor district of Jurgutschen had 51 inhabitants in 1910.

On September 30, 1928, Jurgutschen gave up its independence and was incorporated into the neighboring rural community of Pietrellen (1938 to 1945 Treugenfließ, in Polish: Pietrele). On June 3 (with official confirmation of July 16), 1938, the place was renamed "Jürgenshof" for political and ideological reasons to avoid foreign-sounding place names.

As a result of the war, the place came to Poland in 1945 with southern East Prussia and has since been known as “Jurgucie” in Polish. Today it is part of the Budry rural community in the powiat Węgorzewski , before 1998 part of the Suwałki Voivodeship , and since then it has belonged to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
