Koźlak ( German  Wilhelmshöh ) is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , part of the rural community Budry (Buddern) in the powiat Węgorzewski ( Angerburg district ).

Geographical location

Koźlak is located in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, 15 kilometers northeast of the district town of Węgorzewo (Angerburg) .

history

The little until September 30, 1862 dismantling Salecker , after 1898 Wilhelmshöhe and until 1945 Wilhelmshöh called Gutsort was before 1945 a dwelling place in the municipality Klein Pillacken (1923 to 1945 Lindewiese, Polish piłaki małe ) in the district Angerburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia .

As a result of the war, the place came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and has been called "Koźlak" since then.
