history
In Straeten there has been a very high level of popular piety for many decades . This is also visible through a large number of crossroads and chapels. No fewer than four chapels have been built next to the parish church . The smallest is the 19th century Tetz Chapel. It was built on the basis of a pledge in honor of Our Lady. The neighborhood is responsible for care and maintenance .
architecture
The chapel building is a small, rectangular brick building with an ogival opening and a double-winged entrance door. The slate gable roof is crowned with a chapel cross. Inside the chapel is plastered and painted with paint. The floor is tiled.
