The small chapel stands on the edge of a field between the outskirts of Girmen and the sports field and is surrounded by trees.
history
The small chapel was built in 1963 by the neighborhoods of Girmes and Rolland from donations. The chapel was furnished with a Fatima Madonna and an altar . A relic of the seer children of Fatima was walled into the altar. On July 7th, 1963 the Lady Chapel was inaugurated by Pastor Pesch.
architecture
The building is a small, apse-like brick structure with a large, rectangular opening. The roof is a concrete ceiling arched in the middle , which is supported by four steel columns beyond the masonry. The roof is crowned with a chapel cross. The floor is tiled with natural stone slabs . The entrance area is a grated door of wrought iron decorated.
