The chapel is at Feldstrasse 70, about 200 m from the parish church of St. Lambertus.

history

The St. Cornelius Chapel, built in the 18th century as a votive chapel by Franz Josef Meyer, was transferred to the church in 1880. The rococo altar was adorned with a small Pietà from 1704. The chapel was totally destroyed in the Second World War . The current Marienwinkel chapel was built in its place in 1955 . The place of prayer was built by a local family in honor of Our Lady according to a plan by Franz-Josef Klother . In 2003 the chapel was renovated and given a new entrance.

architecture

The building is a small, rectangular brick building with a flat roof . The ends of the side wall are two tapered buttresses that form a bell tower . The inside of the chapel is painted white.
