Kevin Lavallée (born December 12, 1981 in Montréal , Québec ) is a Canadian - German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Dresden Ice Lions in the DEL2 since 2019 .

Career

Lavallée began his career in the 2000/01 season at Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League , but switched to league rivals Montréal Rocket in his first year .

After just one year Lavallée moved to Germany, where he went on the ice for the Augsburg Young Panthers in the Regionalliga in the 2001/02 season . For the 2002/03 season he moved to the ERSC Amberg in the league before joining the Straubing Tigers in the 2nd Bundesliga at the beginning of the 2003/04 season. During his time in Straubing, he was by production license and nine times in the Kassel Huskies in the German Ice Hockey League used to which he for the 2005/06 season should also change.

Instead, Lavallée decided to move to the ECHL , where he was under contract first with the Florida Everblades and then with the Charlotte Checkers . In the same season, the defender returned to Germany and signed a contract with the Augsburg Panthers. During the 2006/07 season Lavallée left the Panthers to end the season with the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the 2nd Bundesliga.

From the 2008/09 season Lavallée was under contract with EHC Munich and ran there with the shirt number 77. In April 2011, the defender signed a contract with the Kölner Haien until the end of the 2012/13 season . After the contract in Cologne expired, Lavallée moved on to the Hamburg Freezers , where he first received a trial contract and ultimately spent the 2013/14 season, and then played for the Iserlohn Roosters for two years .

In April 2016 he was introduced as a new addition to the Fischtown Pinguins .

In July 2019 he was signed by the Dresden Ice Lions .
