Khaled Narey (born July 23, 1994 in Neuwied ) is a German football player of Togolese descent who is under contract with Hamburger SV .

family

Narey was born in Neuwied , Rhineland-Palatinate , and grew up in Leverkusen . His parents come from Togo , but he has only German citizenship .

Career

Narey played for SV Bergfried Leverkusen-Steinbüchel eV from June 2003 to June 30, 2008. In the 2013/14 season he moved up from the Bayer 04 Leverkusen A youth team to the second men's team and developed into a regular player.

After Bayer had logged 04 Leverkusen's second team after the season 2013/14, Narey joined the season 2014/15 for the second team of Borussia Dortmund . He made his debut in the 3rd division on July 26, 2014 in a 2-1 win against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . On the first matchday of the 2014/15 Bundesliga season he was in the first team's 18-man squad, but was not used in the 2-0 defeat against his former club Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

For the 2015/16 season , Narey switched to league rivals SC Paderborn 07 on loan for a year .

For the 2016/17 season he was signed by SpVgg Greuther Fürth until June 30, 2019.

For the 2018/19 season, Narey moved to Hamburger SV . He signed a contract with the Bundesliga relegated team until June 30, 2022. Under head coaches Christian Titz and Hannes Wolf , he established himself as a regular on the wing and made 32 league appearances (28 times from the start). With 7 league goals he was behind Pierre-Michel Lasogga (13) the second best goalscorer of his team, who missed the direct promotion with the 4th place.
