Michael Kreitl (born December 6, 1975 in Schongau ) is a former German ice hockey player who has been the managing director of ESV Kaufbeuren Spielbetriebs GmbH since April 2015 .

Career

Michael Kreitl began his career as an ice hockey player in 1995 at EC Peiting , for which he played for a total of seven years until 2002. He then moved to the Tölzer Löwen in the 2nd Bundesliga . After just one year, Kreitl moved to league rivals SC Riessersee , for whom he scored a total of 16 points, including eleven goals, in 21 games in the 2003/04 season. In addition, the attacker played in the same season in 16 games for Moskitos Essen from the ice hockey league , in which he scored 18 points (including ten goals). From 2004 to 2006 Kreitl was under contract with the second division Lausitzer Füchse .

In the summer of 2006, the Schongau moved to the second division SERC Wild Wings . From the 2007/08 season Kreitl played with the Augsburger Panthers from the DEL . There he was one of the most successful face-off players and was runner-up in the DEL in 2010. Also in the 2007/2008 season he played in the 2nd BL for EV Landsberg 2000 in 29 games and scored 36 points, including nine goals. In June 2010, Kreitl signed the EC Peiting in the ice hockey league .

In May 2012 it was announced that Kreitl, who was by far the top scorer of the EC Peiting in the past season , is moving to SC Riessersee from the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga . For the 2013/2014 season he moved to league competitor ESV Kaufbeuren . Since he did not extend his contract for the next season, he returned to the ice hockey league for EC Peiting in the summer of 2014 .

After a short stint at his home club, he moved back to ESV Kaufbeuren in November 2014. After achieving relegation at ESV Kaufbeuren, Kreitl ended his career in April 2015 and has been managing director of the new ESVK Spielbetriebsgesellschaft mbH ever since.
