Arnoldihaus Warburg

April 4 : Henrick Santman builds a half-timbered house in Warburg . The building is later named Arnoldihaus in memory of the Jesuit priest and martyr Johannes Arnoldi and is now part of the city's cultural heritage .

Moses (ca.1513)

After the death of Pope Julius II , his heirs sign a new contract with Michelangelo Buonarotti about the funerary monument he is currently working on. The monument is now to be completed in a smaller version. In the first time, among other things, the figure of the horned Moses and the bound and dying slave emerged.
Master Anton Pilgram completes the organ base of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna .

The first iron etchings were carried out in the field of armouring . However, this form of graphic does not catch on because iron rusts too quickly .
