history

The first written mention of Lipec took place in 1347. From 1409 the village was the seat of Vladiken Zdeněk von Lipec. Before 1516, Mikuláš Cerhenský von Dražice acquired the Lipec estate and added it to the Hradišťko rule. In 1539 Diviš Slavata von Chlum and Koschumberg acquired the estate and gave it to the Radovesnice lordship. In 1547 he was one of the leaders of the class uprising against King Ferdinand I and lost his property after the uprising was put down. From 1552 Jan Klusák von Kostelec owned Radovesnice, his widow Žofie had the church built in 1597. After Ondřej Klusák's death, his sons shared the property in 1590; the Lipec estate fell to Albrecht Jiří Klusák. The following owners of Lipec were Albrecht the Elder. Ä. Klusák and Jan Oldřich Klusák. The latter sold the estate in 1607 to King Rudolf II , who united it with the Podebrady rulership .

In 1833, the rustical village of Lipetz , located in the Bidschower district , consisted of 34 houses in which 216 people, including four Protestant and one Jewish family, lived. Lipetz was one of the five villages of the Chrchitzer or Upper Court. Under the patronage of the authorities was the branch church of St. Trinity. The parish was Elbe-Teinitz . The children went to school in Radowesnitz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Lipetz remained subordinate to the kk cameraman Podiebrad.

After the abolition of patrimonial Lipec formed from 1849 with the district Božec a municipality in the judicial district Chlumetz . From 1868 the municipality belonged to the Neubydžow district . In 1869 Lipec had 244 inhabitants and consisted of 41 houses. In 1900 there were 279 people in Lipec, in 1910 there were 301. Božec broke up in 1921 and formed its own municipality. In 1930 Lipec had 275 inhabitants. Since 1960 the community has belonged to Okres Kolín . In 1961 it was incorporated into Radovesnice II. Since July 1, 1990, the municipality of Lipec has existed again. At the 2001 census, there were 199 people in Lipec's 82 houses. The municipality has had a coat of arms and a banner since 2018.
