List of countries according to development aid received
This list sorts countries based on the amount of Official Development Assistance they have received. The figures given are based on OECD definitions of international aid. Two OECD subtypes of aid are included - Official Development Aid (ODA) and Official Aid Received (OA). The amounts are in nominal US dollars.
It should be noted that large amounts of unofficial development aid are not included. This includes most of China's development finance for Africa .
Countries for development aid
Countries are sorted according to the net development aid received. If a country has paid more aid than it received, its value is negative. The net development aid is also given as a share of gross national income. All data are for 2016 and come from the World Bank .
