List of MPs

Abbreviations / legend:

  • Vw. Stands for proportional representation block ( 比例 ブ ロ ッ ク hirei burokku )
  • The constituency column is sorted according to majority / proportional representation constituencies and from north to south in the order customary in Japan ( ISO 3166-2: JP ).
  • In the column “parl. Sen. "(for" parliamentary seniority ") is the number of individual electoral successes ( 当選 回 数 tōsen kaisū ), which does not always coincide with the electoral periods of the chamber, as it is due to the trench election system in the event of a successful change from a proportional representation a majority seat is possible, to be elected twice as a member of parliament in one electoral term. Among other things, the “parliamentary seniority” determines the seating arrangements within the parliamentary groups.
  • shaded: MPs who were not members for the entire period
