List of PSLV rocket launches
The list of PSLV rocket launches gives an overview of all launched and some of the planned launches. The Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) is launched from the FLP (First Launch Pad) or the SLP (Second Launch Pad) of the Satish Dhawan Space Center in the state of Andhra Pradesh and can bring up to 1800 kg into a sun-synchronous orbit .
The serial number C13 is not used due to the prevalent triskaidecaphobia in India .
Explanation
- Date : Indicates the day and time of the start.
- Type : Designates the type of missile that was used.
- Ser.-No. : Gives the serial number or mission name.
- Launch site : Indicates the site and launch pad.
- Payload : Name the payload.
- Type of payload : Gives a brief overview of what the payload is.
- Payload Weight: Indicates the weight of the satellite.
- Orbit : Indicates the orbit in which the payload was launched. It does not necessarily have to be the target orbit .
- Notes : Provides further information on the status of the mission.
PSLV variants
List last updated: January 25, 2020
So far, 50 starts have been made, of which 47 were a success, one a partial success and two a failure, which corresponds to a reliability of 94%.
