List of renamed streets and squares in Greiz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list contains (still incomplete) renamed streets and squares in the Thuringian city of Greiz . Most of the name changes took place in four waves of renaming:

  • during the Third Reich 1933 to 1937.
  • immediately after the end of the Second World War in May / June 1945.
  • Late 1945 to mid-1950s
  • after the political change in 1990/91

There were of course individual changes at other times.

Renaming in suburbs before or due to the incorporation is not included.
