history
Ludrová as a municipality was created in 1953 through the merger of the places Sedliacka Ludrová (Hungarian Parasztludrova ) and Zemianska Ludrová (until 1927 "Zemanská Ludrová"; Hungarian Nemesludrova ).
The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1376, where part belonging to the nearby town of Rosenberg is confirmed. From that year until 1953 there were two places, the so-called Villa Ludrova in the western part (in the place of Sedliacka Ludrová), which was one of the “streets” of the city and an eastern part which belonged to local landowners.
