Mühlberg (Thurnau)

Mühlberg is a desert in the municipality of Thurnau in the Upper Franconian district of Kulmbach .

geography

The wasteland was at a height of 352  m above sea level. NHN at the foot of a wooded hill in the east. To the west were the deserted Weiherhaus and Skinner .

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1801 as "Mühlberg". The property was originally under the Giech'schen Amt Thurnau , from 1797 to 1808 under the Patrimonial Court of Thurnau . With the municipal edict, Mühlberg was assigned to the Thurnau tax district in 1811 and to the Thurnau municipality in 1818. At the time, 5 residents lived on the property. Mühlberg was still listed in a topographical map from 1899. The place was not listed in the Bavarian registers of places and is not found in the Bavarian first recording, unless the place is identical to the "former [aligen] Kropfmühle".

The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination were parish to St. Laurentius (Thurnau) .
