Path of reflection
In the course of the land consolidation process in Mittelneufnach , the idea arose among those involved to set up a "path of reflection" and thus to honor the preservation of the cultural landscape in a special way. Thereupon the implementation started with the participation of the landscape architect Rainer Söhmisch from Freising and in October 2007 the first ascent was carried out. The reflection path consists of 20 stations and is divided into two sections. The section to the west of the town center is known as the “Community Path” and is about 3.6 kilometers long. To the east of the town center, on the other hand, is the section known as “My personal path” with a length of around 4.2 kilometers. The starting point for the route is the parish church of St. Johannes Evangelist in the center of the village. Afterwards, the hikers pass various field crosses, chapels and sculptures, each of which is provided with text panels. The path of reflection ends at the fruit grove on Böcklesberg .
