Mitterberg-Saint Martin 's since the beginning of 2015 a municipality in the area of Expositur Gröbming , Liezen in Styria ( judicial district Schladming ).

Community structure
The municipality of Mitterberg-Sankt Martin emerged with the Styrian municipal structural reform from the municipalities of Mitterberg and Sankt Martin am Grimming, which were dissolved at the end of 2014 .
The municipality includes the following nine localities (population in brackets as of January 1, 2020):
- Diemlern (120) including Espang and Oberstuttern
- Gersdorf (152) including Besenbichl, Kaindorf and Zirting
- Mitterberg (846) including the mountain, village, Eberl, Matzling, Ratting and footbridge
- Oberlengdorf (130)
- Salza (147) including Krottendorf
- Sankt Martin am Grimming (221)
- Strimitzen (46) including Niedergstatt
- Tipschern (178) including Prenten
- Unterlengdorf (89) including Neuhäusl and Kranzbach
The community consists of four cadastral communities (area 2016):
- Diemlern (918.41 ha)
- Lengdorf (1,478.99 ha)
- Mitterberg (1,731.46 ha)
- St. Martin (1,365.10 ha)

Population development

Both previous municipalities had a municipality coat of arms. Due to the amalgamation of municipalities, these lost their official validity on January 1st, 2015. The new municipal
coat of arms for the merged community took effect on February 15, 2015. Description of coat of arms :
- “Under a blue shield head with a silver Dreispitzberg, the middle point of which is raised, split from black to red, growing to the right from the edge of the shield a silver point facing left, covered with a stalked blue lily, on the left over a golden boiler hook offset backwards by two gold butting gold points Rhombuses; the gap covered with a fallen silver sword. "

Economy and Infrastructure
- Together with Michaelerberg-Pruggern and Gröbming, the community forms the Gröbminger Land tourist association . Its seat is in Gröbming.
