Montenerodomo is an Italian commune with 640 inhabitants in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo . It is located about 41.5 kilometers south-southeast of Chieti in the Majella National Park and belongs to the Comunità Montana Medio Sangro .

The ruins of the ancient city of Iuvanum , one of the centers of Samnite culture, lie in the municipality . Remnants of the wall can be dated to the third century BC.
