Canosa Sannita is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1306 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo . The municipality is located about 13 kilometers east-southeast of Chieti .
history
In the 9th century the place was founded by the Lombards and was soon under the rule of the Abbey of Montecassino. In 1113 the Bishop of Chieti was given the place.
