Bomba is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 756 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo . The municipality is located about 38 kilometers south-southeast of Chieti and belongs to the Comunità montana Valsangro . In the southwest of the municipality is the Lago di Bomba , a 10 square kilometer lake that was created by the damming of the Sangro .
