Torino di Sangro (in the local dialect: Turìn ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3006 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo . The municipality is located about 35 kilometers southeast of Chieti on the Adriatic coast . The north-western boundary of the municipality forms the Sangro .

Strada Statale 16 Adriatica runs through the municipality along the coast and the A14 autostrada from Bologna towards Taranto . The former Strada Statale 154 della Valle del Sangro descends from Strada Statale 16 Adriatica near Torino di Sangro . The Torino di Sangro-Paglieta train station is on a freight line. The station on the Adriatic Railway from Ancona to Lecce has now been closed.
