Giuliano Teatino is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 1198 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Chieti in Abruzzo . The village is an old castle on a hill between the rivers Venna and Dendalo , which flow into the Foro . It is located about 10.5 kilometers southeast of Chieti .

history

The castle complex from the 11th century is strategically located. Fief included the Orsini and the Caracciolo as landlords. The place is mentioned for the first time around 1320.
