Four kilometers south of the village, a pre-Roman temple complex from the 3rd - 2nd centuries BC was built in 1964. Excavated and partially reconstructed. The larger temple has a base on which nine steps lead up. The gable was supported by four Ionic columns that are now in the area. The smaller, partially reconstructed, temple still hides the remains of its mosaic floor. Numerous ceramic finds have been brought to the National Museum in Chieti.
