NGC 3265 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy with extensive star formation areas in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 57 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 15,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 3245 , NGC 3254 , NGC 3277 , among others .

The object was discovered on April 11, 1785 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
