NGC 4971 is a 14.2 likes bright lenticular galaxy of Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Coma Berenices , which is about 281 million light-years from the Milky Way's center. It belongs to the Coma galaxy cluster and was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on April 23, 1865 .
