NGC 4963 is a 13.4 likes bright radio galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation of the hunting dogs . It was discovered on April 9, 1787 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "pB, vS, stellar, near and north of a small star".
