NGC 80 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 262 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter.

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 81 , NGC 83 , NGC 85 , IC 1546 .

The object was discovered by John Herschel on August 17, 1828 .
