NGC 62 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sa in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 291 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on October 8, 1883 by the French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan .
