نحن جند الله جند الوطن إن دعى داعي الفداء لم نخن نتحدى الموت عند المحن نشتري المجد بأغلى ثمن هذه الأرض لنا فليعيش سوداننا عالما بين الأمم يا بني السودان هذا رمزكم يحمل العبء ويحمي أرضكم

Nahnu jund Allah jund al-watan.
In daʿā dāʿī l-fidā 'lam nachun.
Natahaddā l-maut ʿinda l-mihan.
Naschtarī l-madschd bi-aghlā thaman.
Hādhihī l-ard lanā! Fa-la-yaʿīsch Sūdānunā,
ʿālaman baina l-umam.
Yā banī s-Sudān, hādhā ramzukum;
Yahmil al-ʿib ', wa-yahmī ardakum.

German translation

We are the soldiers of God and of
our homeland We will never fail to sacrifice ourselves when we are called
Whether to face death, misery or pain
We give our lives for the price of glory
May this country, our Sudan, live long
All nations Pointing the way,
O tribes of Sudan, urged to serve now.
Take the burden and save your land
