Neumi Neumann

Hans-Joachim "Neumi" Neumann (born June 15, 1952 in East Berlin ) is a German musician .

Life

Neumann attended the Friedrichshain Music School from 1971 to 1974 and received his professional ID there. He was a member of the College Formation from 1972 to 1973 and a founding member of Karat in 1975 . After his military service in 1977 with the NVA , he founded the band Neumis Rock Circus in 1979 .

In 1983 Neumann left the GDR, which also meant the end of Neumi's Rock Circus. In 1986 he moved to West Berlin .

In 1990 he founded together with Norbert Finally , formerly H & N , which Neuend music production . On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Mozart's death , they launched the pop-classic project “Amadeus and the Mozartkugeln” (later simply “Amadeus”). Neumann took over the vocal part and slipped into the role of Mozart during performances. Among other things, the single Queen of the Night (an allusion to the character of the same name in Mozart's opera Die Zauberflöte ) and the album Amadeus were released .

This was followed by albums for Judy Weiss , Ines Adler , Lucca, Big Joe, Inka Bause , Junia, David Hasselhoff and Marshall & Alexander , for which Neumann and Endlich were responsible as authors and producers.

From Neuend film scores derived for the movie angels and for the for SAT.1 produced eight divider The Incorruptible by Dieter Wedel . Furthermore, titles were produced for the Flippers , Roland Kaiser and other Schlager interpreters. In 2009 Neuend was dissolved, and as a result Neumann largely withdrew from the music business.
