Font-Romeu-Odeillo-Via (in Catalan Font-romeu, Odelló i Vià ) is a municipality with 1928 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Pyrénées-Orientales department ( northern Catalonia ) in the French region of Occitania and in the comarca (district ) from Conflent. The municipality is part of the Pyrénées Catalanes Regional Natural Park .

A training center for the French Olympic team of the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico was established here. Furthermore, one of the largest solar melting furnaces in the world is located in Odelló (with 1 MW thermal output and temperatures up to around 3600 ° C), which was built for research purposes. Odelló has a stop on the narrow-gauge railway " petit train jaune ", which is used by many tourists from Villefranche-de-Conflent .

Nearby is the small town of Prada de Conflent (fr. Prades ), where the Catalan cellist Pau Casals lived. The Romanesque monasteries of Sant Miquel de Cuixà and Sant Martí del Canigó are major landmarks of Catalan culture .
