With its participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Swaziland was represented at the Olympic Games for the 8th time. The country's first participation was in 1972 . The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Temalangeni Dlamini . A total of five athletes participated in three sports.
