With its participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Morocco was represented at the Olympic Games for the 12th time. The first participation was in 1960. The focus of the Morocco Olympic squad was certainly on boxers and track and field athletes. Ten representatives qualified in boxing alone. 28 track and field athletes competed for Morocco, most of them on the medium and long distances.
