With its participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Honduras was represented at the Olympic Games for the 9th time. The first participation was in 1968. 24 athletes (23 men, 1 woman) competed in five different sports. The flag bearer for the opening ceremony was Miguel Ferrera.
