Altobeli da Silva (2016) won the run

The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the 2019 Pan American Games took place on August 10 at Villa Deportiva Nacional in the Peruvian capital, Lima .

Eleven runners from nine countries took part in the run. Altobeli da Silva won the gold medal after 8: 30.73 min, silver went to Carlos Sanmartín with 8: 32.24 min and Mario Bazán won the bronze medal with 8: 32.34 min.
